Only what I've actually done
Below are the GEO implementation records from work I'm actually running at a franchise HQ. I record the process with dates even before results are final, and I write up what didn't work, too.
Measurement method
Every result on this page is measured the same way.
- Question set
- A fixed set of 8 location × service questions (in the form "a place good at men's perms near Oryudong Station")
- AIs measured
- ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Naver AI Briefing
- What's recorded
- Whether the salon name appears in the answer / in what position / based on what information (location, services, reviews) it is mentioned
- Frequency
- Once a month, run on the same day under the same conditions (weekly during a consulting contract)
- Counting
- "Visible" counts only when the salon name is included in the body of the answer. Answers that only list links are excluded

| Learned so far | The English salon name differed across channels, and cleaning that up took the longest. Even for the same query, each AI relied on different evidence. Some looked at review counts, some at the service names in blog reviews, and some at stylist introductions on the website. |
