Junsik Yu (Yujunsik)
Beauty AI Consultant · Head of Planning, Hair-Salon Franchise HQ

I lead planning at a Korean hair-salon franchise HQ, where I'm responsible for franchise operating systems and brand strategy. This site is not a brand channel. It's my personal space for sharing methods proven inside a franchise HQ with the wider beauty industry, whatever brand you belong to.
Since 2024, customers have started asking AI for salon recommendations directly. Most salon information, however, exists in forms AI can't read: text inside images, JavaScript-only pages, inconsistent business names across channels. I define the problem as "making salons machine-readable," and I build systems to apply the fix across franchise locations at once.

Three perspectives
- 1
“GEO is not advertising. It's putting information in order. Not visibility bought with money, but getting a salon's information into a form AI can trust.”
- 2
“A salon's first GEO task isn't the website. It's writing the salon name the same way everywhere. A different name on each channel looks like a different salon to AI.”
- 3
“A franchise's strength is that a structure built once can be applied to dozens of locations at the same time. GEO is work the HQ should do.”
